By car

The easiest and fastest way to Baldovec is as follows

• Follow the A1 highway from Prague to Brno.
• Continue along the D 47 (E 462) highway to Vyskov
• Take Exit 226 on km 226 VYSKOV ZAPAD (if you drive from the direction of Ostrava, Olomouc, take the exit as well - but from the opposite direction)
• When you get off the highway turn right - direction Vyskov
• Go straight on and enter Vyskov. On the first traffic lights turn left to Blansko, Drnovice (road 379). This point appears to be in a little valley (you will know when you get there).
• Go straight on and out of Vyskov
• Village Drnovice. In Drnovice you will go to JEZKOVICE, BLANSKO. It is still the main road, turns right a bit.
• Go straight on and out of Drnovice. There is an alley of high trees. If they are there you know you go the right way!
• Follow the main road - it will turn right and uphill.
• Village JEZKOVICE. Follow the main road.
• Village RUPRECHTOV. Follow the main road. After leaving it up on a hill you will see a high transmitting tower. REMEMBER - if you get lost, you have to pass under it on your way to Baldovec. It is a very useful orienteering point.
• Village PODOMI. Follow the main road and turn left to BLANSKO, JEDOVNICE.
• Village SENETAROV. In Senetarov you WILL NOT follow the main road but will go straight on to PROSTEJOV, LIPOVEC. (The main road will turn left and you will leave it and go straight on to a minor road!)
• Turn right to PROSTEJOV, LIPOVEC. Road nr. 378.
• If you go right, the transmitting tower should be directly in front of you! Wow, itīs so high! And it really is - 243 m! The road is snow destroyed, full of holes. Drive slowly!
• Drive underneath the tower, do not turn right!
• After you pass under the tower, follow the main road and turn left to PROSTEJOV, LIPOVEC, road nr. 378.
• In LIPOVEC, turn right (main road) to PROSTEJOV, ROZSTANI.
• Village ROZSTANI. You are almost there! Take the first turn behind the church to the left to BALDOVEC. The turn is about 100 m behind the church.
• You are about to enter the middle of nowhere. Drive slowly. After 2 km you will come in the village Baldovec.
• From now on follow the conference signs or look for yellow signs with CAMPING BALDOVEC on it.
• Yes, you will drive in the woods. There is an asphalt road but in a very bad condition. Drive slowly. Your car will not like you. You will drive past a quarry, then the road turns left and uphill, downhill and you are there! From Baldovec it should not take more than 5 min driving.
• If you get lost, get back to the beginning of the last village after which you lost your way and try again. In case you would be about to try for the third time - give me a call at +420 603 279 423 and I will provide an assistance.

Air-plane

Most of the flights will be destined to the international airport Prague-Ruzyne. Some flights of the nearby countries may be landing in Brno or Ostrava airports.

You will take the yellow Student Agency buses. They sell tickets in a stand right at the airport in the arrival hall. There is a line of stands. Turn right towards the Exit E and search for a stand with yellow buses. The organization is called Student Agency. There will be a sign Buses Prague - Brno. Buy a ticket to Brno. Wait there - the driver will come a couple of minutes before the departure to pick you up and bring you to the bus. Warning: they only accept Czech currency! There is an Exchange office at the airport.. The one-way ticket costs CZK 210,- (€ 6,-), first class CZK 260,- (€ 8,-). They will not probably accept Euros, so remember to get some change at the airport (you will need it anyway)! See the bus schedule below. Make sure you will let us know the exact date and time of your arrival.

In Brno our shuttle will pick you up and swiftly carry to Baldovec.

Bus, train

Brno is the best place to arrive to. However Prague is all right, too. Once in Prague it is easy to get to Brno by bus or by train. Just let us know your exact arrival to Prague and we will provide you with a list of forthcoming buses (or trains) to Brno and provide an assistant to see you get on the right bus.

In Brno - our shuttle will pick you up and swiftly carry to Baldovec. Just make sure we know you wait either on the train-station or bus-station.
