13th EEEurope Conference

Welcome

We are delighted to be hosting the 2009 gathering of EEEurope in Estonia. We look forward to welcoming all the friends old and new from throughout Europe and beyond. You are especially welcome if you are taking part for the first time. The hosts in Estonia are Reeda Tuula and her team: Meelis Zujev (Ministry of Social Affairs)  and Katrin Soidra-Zujev (Estonia Union of Child Welfare), students from The Institute of Health Sciences and Sport, Tallinn University. The conference as a whole event, as well as the workshops, is formed by the participants, it has worked out the best so far and so it will remain for 2009 in Estonia.  We are very thankful for the help offered already,  I hope others will volunteer their help as the time for event is coming closer. So far,  many thanks to Jeroen, Lesley, Michael (Rehm), Jacopo  and Frank.

The conference will be organized from 30th of April till the 4th of May. In advance of the conference, a pre-conference programme will be organized from 27. – 29. of April.

About the EEEurope conference

Since 1997 this annual conference has provided a unique meeting place for experiential educators, trainers, therapists, teachers and others who are interested in sharing, discussing and challenging their knowledge, methods and techniques. What sets us apart from most other practitioner conferences is our completely informal structure together with our belief that everyone who attends (however 'new' or 'old') has something to share that others can learn from. This means that the workshops are provided by participants. There are no paid speakers. Everything is voluntary and is organized by the groupp itself.

EEE 2008 meeting represented the year of change, lots of discussions, thoughts, ideas, emotions about how should EEE continue and what should be changed  but at least one thing that the whole group agrees upon – the meetings must go on. This is the time we really can enjoy the pure value of what EEE is all about.
