The workshops will be given by the participants themselves. So, think about what you would like to share from your experiences, skills or knowledge. Maybe you would like to lead a discussion on a certain subject, want to try out a new activity, or present a project of yours.
In principle, the time slots are either 1½ or 3 hours. But feel free to offer something that takes 30 to 45 minutes, as well.
We would like you to send in your proposals (Just a short description, one paragraph is enough!) as soon as possible, so we can plan ahead and put up all the workshops to be offered on this website. Having the workshops online might inspire people to attend the conference or to give a workshop about something they didn't think of before.
We will prepare a rough suggestion for the workshop schedule, but - as usual - the final arrangement will be done by all of us together on the arrival night. This ensures that we place very popular workshops so as to allow a maximum number of people to attend. Another reason why we do this all together is to give the workshop leaders the opportunity to arrange theirs in a way that works best for them. Because they are willing to offer something, they get a "preference vote" in the arrangement of the schedule (as opposed to participants who do not present a workshop).
To send in your workshop proposal (or if you have any questions), please send us an e-mail with the following information:
Workshop title
One-paragraph description
Time frame
If indoors - room size & set-up
If outdoors - kind of area needed
Equipment needed
If you have never attended an EEE conference, the workshop proposals at previous conferences may give you inspiration. You will find access to them under Previous conferences.
