Costs

To assist with our planning and organisation we have a pricing structure that encourages you to book as early as possible, in this way you get the lowest conference price and we get confirmed numbers of participants. For 2007 we have kept the conference cost at last year's prices, but we have increased the pre-conference costs by a small amount.

Accommodation and seminar rooms have to be reserved; shuttle services, pre-conference activities, and equipment rentals have to be arranged. Early booking and payment allows us to make the necessary bookings and arrangements with confidence, and reduces the risk of us being personally out of pocket.

Pricing structure:

Conference

These costs include

• conference fee
• accommodation in dormitory style bedrooms
• all meals (starting with dinner on April 26, and finishing with breakfast on April 30), beverages are charged separately
• shuttle service from Stirling railway station if arrival by train or airplane. We may need to charge you an extra € 24 for pickups if they are outside the arranged times. See How to get there.
• € 20,00 contribution to the scholarship fund

Making the conference cheaper

If you would like to camp, there is a reduction of € 60
Alternatively, if you prefer hotel accommodation, there is a discount of € 60 on the conference costs, but you need to make your own accommodation arrangements.
If you are offering a workshop - and register before March 20 2007 - you will receive a € 10,00 discount.

Pre-conference

These costs include

• pre-conference fee, including all bike hire, boat ride tickets, transportation, entry tickets, meals, etc.
• accommodation in dormitory style bedrooms
• all meals (starting with dinner on April 23, and finishing with lunch on April 26), beverages are charged separately
• shuttle service from Stirling railway station, if arrival by train or airplane. We may need to charge you an extra € 24 for pickups if they are outside the arranged times. See How to get there.

N.B.:If you play golf at the local golf course there is an extra charge of £28 payable in cash on the day.

Making the pre-conference cheaper

If you would like to camp, there is a reduction of € 45
Alternatively, if you prefer hotel accommodation, there is a discount of € 45 on the pre-conference costs, but you need to make your own accommodation arrangements.

Cancellation

All cancellations must be received in writing and will be subject to a charge. For both the conference and the pre-conference we are happy to accept a substitute delegate if the original delegate is unable to attend.
