On our pre conference day we provide you a variety of experiential programs.
Canoeing on the Hungarian wetlands – on the 21st and the morning of 22nd of April
A day trip with canadians into the small waterways of the Danube’s floodplains. These are actually almost the only untouched nature spots in Hungary due hard to access – so don’t forget your binoculars: there is a chance to watch various kinds of rare birds, wild boars or dears and even a european beaver.
Arrival on the 20th of April (Saturday), PreConf on the 21st Sunday. Depending on the group size and agreement it is optional to spend the night of the 21nd in tents and have another short trip at sunrise to have a greater chance to see wildlife and get back to confernce venue around noon on the 22nd of April for EEE2013 opening.

Caving and sleeping out in the north-eastern forests of Hungary – on the 21st and the morning of 22nd of April
There are 873 caves in the Bükk Mountainsin Hungary – we could descend into one. This would be a real overal tour – so slipping and crawling in the dark.
Arrival on the 20th of April (Saturday and leaving for Miskolc), optional bivaq in the forest. On the 21st Sunday You will have an overal caving tour taylored to the abilites of group members and afterward a relaxing time in the uniqe CaveHotSpas of Miskolctapolca. When boiled tenderly we headback to the conference venue spending the night there.

Get to know Budapest on a different way – on the 21st of April
A creative city tour: Buda and Pest were united in 1873. This is only one of the interesting stories of far and recent past and the vivid present of our capital. If you are interested on to be a tourist but have the insider look this couple of hours experiential trip gives you what you want. On the top You can spoil your body in the Szechenyi hot bath for the rest of the day. A day for hedonists or tired adventurers.

Rock climbing in Budapest – on the 21st of April
Surprisingly there are some good climbing places in the capital of a country where the highest mountain brings a smile to all Austrians face (1014 meters). So, bring your climbing gear (or we provide them to you) – and let’s have a good climb guided by professional climbing instructors through the daywith some gastronomical delights. In case of rain we change into the highest indoor climbing hall of Hungary. After a good exhausting climb we dive into the hot waves of Buda’s biggest turkish bath.
